family weekend
nick and jack brought aischa, soumaya, and malaak with them friday afternoon and we had a nice visit over labor day weekend. staal and i are fairly hopeless homebodies these days so we're thankful for nick taking aischa and the girls out for some fun adventuring in mariposa and yosemite. as i've mentioned before, the staals are a difficult bunch to photograph and it was a busy weekend so i didn't get many but here are a few i managed to snap during the quieter moments...
