rain
been a very wet december. 18 inches of rain so far this month according to the gauge in the garden. some heavy rain earlier today put more water down the creeks than the culverts that run under triangle road could handle so things got a little floody for a while...
the rain has lightened up enough for most of the overflow to recede. another period of heavy rain is expected sometime between 6pm and 9pm this evening.
going to be a soggy new year!

kingsnake
Saw a big (4ft), beautiful kingsnake. Staal and I watched it go down a gopher hole near the propane tank. Very neat!
